ZPB type jet pump assembly is used to pump water before starting when large and medium-sized water pumps are not equipped with bottom valves. They are often installed in the central pump room underground of mines. Using the pressure water or compressed air in the pump room as power, the pump and suction pipe are filled with negative pressure according to the jet principle to achieve the purpose of bottomless valve operation. This device is composed of ZPB type injection pump, valve, vacuum gauge, pipes and fittings. The assembly is divided into different specifications due to different pressures of the working medium.
According to the use site of the water pump, it can be divided into single and multiple water pump installation forms. For the installation of a single water pump, each jet pump only inhales and draws water to that water pump. Multiple water pumps are installed, and multiple water pumps use multiple jet pumps together. Because when used in the main pump room underground in a coal mine, multiple working media (i.e. high-pressure water, compressed air, backup water sources) are used as power, and multiple jet pumps are connected in parallel to serve as backup for each other, so that any jet pump can start any operation when working. One water pump realizes the complete removal of the bottom valve of the water pump in the underground central water pump room. Therefore, the installation form is called a multi-power, multiple jet pumps connected in parallel and mutually backup water supply system.
